Are you as completely in love with As Seen On TV stuff as I am? It almost doesn’t matter what it is they are selling, by the end of the commercial, I am convinced that the product will change my life.
Well the great thing is, that now you can buy As Seen On TV stuff at retail stores!
I happened to find this gem, called Wonder Arms, near the check out counter of Burlington Coat Factory ($5!). And even though I usually don’t impulse buy, I had to get this ‘for my blog’.
First of all my kids LOVE IT! They are too little to use it properly, the arms are a very specific length, which means that you HAVE to be an adult, with adult forearms, to use Wonder Arms. . . But I’m getting ahead of myself.
Wonder Arms claims to give you, well, wonder arm muscles in just minutes a day.
“Great. I will try to use it for however many days they suggest, and I’ll show before and after pictures of my arms.”
Turns out, they don’t have a real ‘exercise program’ to go with the instructions. They show the different ways, but how much is a rep, or how often you should use it, was really vague.
I used it anyways instead of my normal weights. And the thing is actually pretty fun!
There is a sense of satisfaction as you push the arms together and stretch the bands out. So that is a big plus! It folds together pretty nicely, and it’s made of hard plastic that isn’t easily broken. Also Nice.
It comes with 3 different bands for different strength resistance levels. And the hardest one is decently hard!
Over all I’m pretty happy with the product.
They key to having it work for your arms is to use it consistently. I know, that’s the key to any exercise program, but that is where I fail the most.
My Own ‘Routine’
So since they don’t give a firm routine, feel free to copy mine.
it’s pretty simple. I just do four reps of each move. from highest to lowest so
4 reps above my head.
4 reps at shoulder length.
4 reps away from my body at chest level.
4 reps pushing downward.
This literally just takes a couple of minutes a day, just like the box says. So if you have one, let me know how you use it!
If you don’t have one already, You can pick one up by clicking Here
So here is my ‘key to the key’ of workout success. The key is being consistent, the ‘key to the key’ is putting it in plain sight where you can grab it easily. So keep that in mind before you hide it away in a closet!
