Momma Cherie’s 2 week Apple Cider Vinegar Diet.

Beginning weight: 244.6 lbs.

Ending weight: 244.6 lbs

Try It Diet: 2 Tbsp in 1 C. water morning, noon, and night.

I only did the 2 week challenge for 13 days, I simply couldn’t go another day! To be fair, I think I took on the worst method of the group. I did 2 Tablespoons in 1 cup of water in the morning, before lunch, and before bed. It was AWFUL!

My stomach started to hurt every time I took the apple cider vinegar drink, and it never got better. The pain wasn’t sharp, not a knife-like cut or like nausea, but it was a heavy, uncomfortable ache. I’m pretty sure that the ACV wasn’t actually “harming” me and probably did some unknown good. . . But – it sure didn’t feel good!
I started the ACV at 244.6 pounds. I ended the ACV at 244.6 pounds. I dropped a little the first two days, but it went right back up.

The thing is, I didn’t have a lot of motivation to eat well during the two weeks with ACV.

I had moved from being diabetic to pre-diabetic through my diet, which consisted mainly of vegetables, chicken, hamburger, nuts, seeds, dairy, and an occasional intake of small amounts of fruit. I could eat sweets once or twice a week, but never more than two days in a row without my blood sugar raising and staying high or having uncontrollable cravings. I have worked on this for 2.5 years with success and improvement, and in the last 2 years, I have lost a lot of weight.

From day one of the ACV, my willpower was gone. It wasn’t just cravings, it was just that I didn’t care. Sweets and grains ruled the day!

I have been off the ACV for four full days as of this write-up. And I was finally willing to go back to my healthy eating. I stopped eating sweets and grains again,  and my weight has dropped from the 244.6 plateau to 241.0. My blood sugar was staying in the diabetic range while I was taking ACV and eating carelessly, but now  it has dropped back to the pre-diabetic level.

For me, the ACV Diet was not successful. I haven’t ruled out that there might be health benefits to ACV for me, but whatever the unknown benefits were, I know that I won’t be continuing with the nasty Apple Cider Vinegar.

Apple cider vinegar is great for removing moles and tags but if you drink it your teeth will suffer because it removes the outer layer ( can’t think of the name )
