Health Issues: PCOS, athletically induced asthma, lower back injury.

About Me: I am a mom that works part time while my kids are in school. Currently I have 2 children that are leaving childhood and moving into teens, but that can change at any time because we are foster parents.

Stress Level: My life is not crazy busy, but my stress level is huge because I am a stressor. I stress about things that really don’t need to be stressed about. I have acid reflux caused by stress. If I control my stress it doesn’t bother me, but sometimes it jumps up and I have to sit back and figure out what I am stressing about this time.
Activity Level: My exercise consists of taking my kids swimming weekly and cleaning the house. However, as a family we are planning to start walking more to get ready for a family 5k this summer smile emoji😬.

Regular Diet: I don’t know how to describe my eating. I make food when I feel like it and we eat out when I don’t. I like to eat a treat, usually ice cream, in the evening after kids have gone to bed. Not because I feel like I need to hide the fact that I do. Just because I think it’s nicer to wait till they are in bed since I don’t plan on sharing.

I would like to lose weight but I find it difficult to eat in a way I can when my son desperately needs to gain weight. Both of my kids love to eat healthy and beg for brussel sprouts about every meal, but my son needs to throw in some junk food and high calories almost daily. Then there is my husband who says he would die if he eats even one bite of a vegetable. He is happy fending for himself, but I find it silly to cook dinner that he won’t eat. So we eat things without veggies in them and the veggies are a side. We also have a pretty routine meal list we stick to.
